Yoga Class Descriptions
 

Yoga Basics: Learn the fundamental yoga poses while placing focus on breath and alignment.  Relieve stress; induce profound relaxation and deep, gentle muscle release. Wonderful for everyone. Suitable for beginners.

Hatha Yoga: An accessible and eclectic blend of yoga styles designed to tone & stretch the whole body. Relieve everyday stress and create a deep experience of well-being. Suitable for beginners and those wanting to deepen their practice.

Vinyasa Flow Yoga: This class offers movement and breath (Vinyasa) with a steady pace. We aim to challenge the body and mind but as always modifications are offered. More emphasis given to standing sequences and fluidity. Through movement one will warm the joints and heal the body.

Intro to Ashtanga yoga: Inspired by the traditional Ashtanga Primary Series, this classical form of yoga consist of a prescribed flow of postures linked together with breath. In this class one will strengthen the core, increase endurance, and build flexibility.  

Boot camp for everyone: Don’t be afraid, Its fun!! Push yourself past self imposed limitations. Stretch, strengthen, and tone your body. Warm up with some gentle yoga stretching and then power it up! We will work the muscles of the entire body creating strength and burning calories. Laughing is a must! Release stretching to end and of course we will close with breath and a relaxing Savasana.

Zumba: Cardio dancing for all. Rev up your metabolism and have a blast! No need to be a dancer, step out of the box, move your body, free your mind. (55 minute class $10.00 drop in rate)
