Gentle Classes at Yoga Bala-

Our goal is to teach proper alignment and body awareness. This will allow one to relax when needed and move forward when capable. We will guide and encouraged each student to enjoy their yoga experience to the fullest in body mind and spirit. This is a great class for beginners to start their yoga practice and those with experience to fine tune their practice.

 Intermediate Classes at Yoga Bala-

You will be encouraged to push past self imposed limitations and move towards your edge in a safe environment. Expect more movement in this class and guidance towards more challenging poses. Beginners with an open mind welcome.

 Advanced Classes at Yoga Bala-

You will learn to move with grace and power in our advanced classes. We often practice inversions and backbending during these classes. As always you will be guided safely and modifications will be given if needed. Come in with an open mind and a light heart. Karrie loves to “play” in the advanced classes : )

Yoga Basics: Learn the fundamental yoga poses while placing focus on breath and alignment.  Relieve stress; induce profound relaxation and deep, gentle muscle release. Wonderful for everyone. Suitable for beginners.

Hatha Yoga: An accessible and eclectic blend of yoga styles designed to tone & stretch the whole body. Relieve everyday stress and create a deep experience of well-being. Suitable for beginners and those wanting to deepen their practice.

Hatha Vinyasa Yoga: This class offers movement and breath (Vinyasa) with a steady pace. We aim to challenge the body and mind but as always modifications are offered. More emphasis given to standing sequences and fluidity. Through movement one will warm the joints and heal the body.

Intro to Ashtanga yoga: Inspired by the traditional Ashtanga Primary Series, this classical form of yoga consist of a prescribed flow of postures linked together with breath. In this class one will strengthen the core, increase endurance, and build flexibility.  

Boot camp for everyone: Don’t be afraid, Its fun!! Push yourself past self imposed limitations. Stretch, strengthen, and tone your body. Warm up with some gentle yoga stretching and then power it up! We will work the muscles of the entire body creating strength and burning calories. Laughing is a must! Release stretching to end and of course we will close with breath and a relaxing Savasana.

Zumba: Cardio dancing for all. Rev up your metabolism and have a blast! No need to be a dancer, step out of the box, move your body, free your mind. ($10.00 drop in rate)
