Thai Massage like Yoga is an ancient art of body therapy for healing,
health, and transformation. It is an interactive manipulation of the body
using passive stretching, compression, and gentle pressure along energy
lines, which in tune has a uniquely relaxing and therapeutic affect. These
movements help to adjust the skeletal structure, increase flexibility,
relieve muscular and joint tension, stimulate internal organs, and balance
the body’s energy system. This style of massage is performed on
the floor using a mat and the client is to wear loose comfortable clothing.
Meaghan believes yoga and massage to be a natural match for tension and
stress relief! For more information please contact her at 386-314-3959

the summer of 2007.
-

Rania Hanson. Holly then found Yoga Bala and began studying Ashtanga
yoga with Karrie! She was soon to realize the love she had for yoga was
something she would like to share with others. Holly began a committed

the way. Including our own Jodi Ascherman, Lewis Rothlien, and Jeff Welch
among others. Holly has since participated in Yoga-Fit teacher training

Judy Molinaro- A yoga practitioner since the mid 90's,
Judy is a graduate of the Discovery Yoga 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training
program in St. Augustine, Florida. While there she attained a wealth of
insight and knowledge in the Kripalu Yoga tradition.
Brought to America in the 1960's Kripalu Yoga is a traditional Hatha Yoga
practice based on foundational postures whose roots date back thousands of
years. Kripalu yoga is accessable to anyone interested in the benifits of
yoga. It is not necessary to have the mind of a mystic, the body of a
gymnist, or the spirituality of a monk. Kripalu Yoga is much more about
the practice than it is the theory and to understand this simple fact you
must do it.
Judy has experienced first hand how yoga integrates focus and mindfulness,
physical strength and vitality, self awareness and personal growth. If you
are willing to open your heart to a new way of caring for yourself you
will find that yoga touches the very core of your mind, body, and spirit.
While it would appear that the yoga you practice on the mat is
transformational, it is what takes place off the mat that has life
changing potential.
A resident of Ormond Beach since 1987 Judy was a founding member of
Concerned Citizens for Animal Welfare, a non-profit organization dedicated
to reducing companion animal overpopulation in Volusia County and is a
staunch supporter of numerous local animal welfare agencies.
Emily Black-
Emily is a advert believer of health and wellness. After moving to Port
Orange in 2006 Emily earned her Mat and Reformer certification in Pilates,
soon after Emily was introduced to Ashtanga yoga. She quickly became
enamored with the tradition. Soon after, Emily attended Ashtanga
Yoga Teacher Training with the internationally renowned teacher David
Swenson, she has also had the good fortune to attend workshops with Doug
Swenson, Cindi Lee, and Jason Crandell. Emily was very fortunate to practice
in a weekend workshop with Shri K Patthabhi Jois, and is continuing her
training with Manju Jois this coming spring.
Emily enjoys incorporating Pilates Core Principles into her Vinyasa style
routines, and loves to challenge students in a warm and encouraging
environment. Emily feels very blessed to have the opportunity to share
the healing powers of yoga with others and looks forward to meeting you in
her class.
